Globoff operates from Australia. We collect the information you submit through the website so we can understand and respond to your request.

Information we collect

This may include your name, email address, company, project details, indicative budget and timing. Our hosting provider may record limited technical information, such as an IP address and request time, to operate and protect the website.

How we use it

We use enquiry information to respond, prepare project recommendations, deliver agreed work and keep appropriate business records. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and access

Enquiry information is usually kept for up to 24 months after our last conversation, unless we need it for an active project or a longer legal record keeping period. Access is limited to people who need it for that purpose.

Campaigns

If you join a Globoff mailing list or we contact you as part of an online campaign, you can stop those messages at any time on the unsubscribe page. We aim to complete that within 5 business days. This does not cancel a live project conversation.

Globe greeting and approximate country

The homepage requests an approximate country from Country.is using your public IP address. Your browser connects to api.country.is for this lookup, which exposes your IP address to that provider. The request does not include your name, enquiry details, GPS coordinates or cookies from Globoff. Country.is states that it does not log requests. Its information is available at country.is.

This lookup is used only to personalise the decorative globe greeting. It may be inaccurate, particularly with a VPN or mobile network. The page keeps the result only in memory and does not attach it to enquiries. You can choose another country with the header control. No precise-location permission is requested. If the lookup is blocked or unavailable, the globe displays a worldwide greeting.
